NORTH MANCHESTER - Donald 'Gene' Clupper, 81, died at 8 a.m. Saturday in Timbercrest Health Care Center.
The LaFontaine native was a farmer and married to Joanna Ranck on 29 November 1941 in Wabash County; she survives.
Additional survivors include daughters, Rita (Nelson) Dyson, Wabash, and Cathy Hewell, Ohio; and sister, Josephine Walmer, Warsaw.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in LaFontaine Christian Church, with the Rev. Rick Smalling officiating. Burial is in LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main St, LaFontaine. Memorials may be made to Timbercrest Health Care Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
