Ray Poulton,50,employed at the Vincent Hitt Farm on Columbus Road, died at 7:55 a.m. Thursday (April 12 1949) in Newark Hospital where he had been a patient for several days.
A native of Monroe county, he was the son of Winfield & Caroline Cline Poulton. Three brothers and three sisters survive; David Poulton of Johnstown, Everett Poulton of Central City, Samuel Poulton of Granville, Mrs. Earnest Payne of Mount Vernon, Mrs. Glenn Dague of Central City & Mrs. Carl Whissen of Newark. Burial will be in Concord cemetery.
