Funeral services for Mildred Louise Boose, 83, of Princeton, Indiana, formerly of Pryor, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Mildred passed away on Friday at her home in Princeton. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9 am-6 pm and Thursday from 9 am- 12 pm at Key Funeral Home in Pryor. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.

Mildred was born on November 9, 1927 in Keokuk, Iowa to Howard and Icyl "Smitty" (Smith) Bank. She grew up and attended school in Keokuk, Iowa graduating from Keokuk High School in 1945. She was married to Bill Groene of Tulsa and from their union came 7 children. She later married Dale Boose in 1970 and they were married until his death in 1997.

Mildred worked for Wilkerson Real Estate in Pryor as a secretary and bookkeeper for several years, retiring from there in 1988. She had many interests but her main interests were her family, church, the arts, music and dancing. She also participated in many cancer walks over the years. Mildred has spent the last 10 years living with her daughter Mary Lynn in Princeton, Indiana.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pryor, the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary and The Pryor Elkettes.

She is survived by 5 children; Mike and Linda Groene of Oklahoma City, Barb and Larry Smith of Tulsa, Lois and John Oliver of Flower Mound, Texas, Mary Lynn and C.B. Howell of Princeton, Indiana and Terri and Marvin Leaders of Salina.

13 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

2 Brothers- Bob Bank and Ray Bank

3 Sisters- Jean Schneider, Billie Kall and Mary Bank

She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dale; 2 Sons, Donnie and Ray and 1 Brother, Dick.
