Wava Irene Vinson, 90, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1921 to the late Samuel and Gracie Hurst Gardner, also preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Vinson.
Mrs. Vinson was a loving mother.
She is survived by her daughter, Daphne R. Taylor, Galax; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
