Mrs. Effie Granstaff
Mrs. Effie Esther Massey Granstaff, 79, of Madison Apartments, died Wednesday in Edgefield Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral Arrangements were incomplete. The body is at Sanderson Funeral Home in Carthage.
Mrs. Granstaff was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She was a native of Smith County and a daughter of the late Nathan Burdine and Minnie Allen Massey.
Survivors include a son, Nathan Clay Knight, Canon City, Colo.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home, conducted by Bro. Draper Murphy, Interment Ridgewood Cemetery.
