Mrs. Charlotte Cable, the aged mother of T. A. Cable, died at her home at Hattie on last Friday and was buried on Saturday. For more than 90 years she ahs been on earth's pilgrimage and went to her grave much loved and deeply mourned by all who knew her.

According to a Watauga County, N.C. Census of 1900, Charlotte Dugger Cable was born October 1815, in Tenn.
Charlotte Dugger married Claiborne Cable, Nov. 11, 1838, in Johnson Co., Tenn.
In the 1900 census, Charlotte, age 85, and her husband, Claiborne, age 90, were residing in the household of thier son, James Wesley Cable and his family.
