Mrs. S. E. Ranck died at the home in this city yesterday morning. Funeral Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church.

Mrs. Barbara A. Ranck, wife of S. E. Ranck and daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Yaggy, was born October 27, 1831, and died April 28, 1903, aged 71 years, 6 months and 1 day. Three children survive her, namely: Josephine Grey, of Remington, Ind., Jacob E. Musselman of Medford, Oklahoma, and Leighton E. Musselman, of Oakdale, California, besides a husband, five brothers, one sister and five step-daughters. She was converted about fifty years ago and joined the Evangelical Association, and twenty years ago the Methodist Episcopal church of Naperville.
