Daughter of William Arthur "Will" & Minnie Lee (COTTON) ADERHOLD. Married Richard Clarence METCALF - he served in the US Army during World War I and worked in paint sales. They were the parents of one child, a son.

According to the 1930 census of the city of New Orleans, Mina and Richard were residing on South Carollton Avenue, and he was aged 36 years, so born about 1894 in Texas (father in Illinois, mother in Texas). They had been married about three years and had no children present in the household. She was a stenographer in a sales office, and he was a salesman, evidently for a paper company
