Elva I. Kunzman, 92, formerly of rural Selma, died at 3:50p.m. Aug. 18, 1998 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua where she had resided since 1990.
She was born May 19, 1906 near Floris to James and Clara Belle Hatch Kendrick. She married Samuel Kunzman Oct. 31, 1923 in Floris. He died Nov. 19, 1968.
She was a farm homemaker and lived her married life in the Douds and Selma communities. She was a member of Selma United Methodist Church and had been a Rebekah and Pythian Sister.
She is survived by a dau., 2 sons, 7 grch., 10ggrch, 4gggrch.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Blanche Kendrick in infancy, Lakie Taylor, Lois Streeby, Hazel Hetrick and Alta Davis; a bro. William Kendrick and a ggrson.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Selma United Methodist Church, the Revs. Connie Markle and Harold Harryman officiating.
Burial will be in Leando Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds
