Aged Citizen Dies
The funeral of the late C. P. Haynes, age 71 years, who died suddenly at the family residence on Rankin street at 7.30 o'clock last night as a result of a stroke of paralysis, takes place this afternoon at five o'clock at the family residence, conducted by Rev. F. L. Applewhite. Interment will be at Ceder Lawn Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his wife and three sons, Messrs. W. T. and F. M. Haynes, of this city and G. A. Haynes, of Wesson.
For several years he had conducted a prosperous small store on Gallatin street, and his death will be deeply mourned.
