He enlisted in the Army on February 26, 1941 in Syracuse, NY. He was noted as being employed as a Farm Hand and also as Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" on Saipan during the war. He was first interred overseas and later re-interred here on Wednesday, June 16, 1948.
