Alexander moved to Breckenridge 50 years ago. He died following a lengthy illness.
He married Gladys Cloninger on 8 April 1928 at Lubbock, Texas.
Alexander graduated from Breckenridge High School and attended Texas A&M and Texas Tech. He moved to Breckenridge in 1919 after moving with his family from San Angelo.
Mr. Alexander owned / operated a welding shop and was employed by Brown Tool Co. and Dunnigan Tool Company.
Survived by his wife; one son - Allen B. of Houston; three sisters - Mrs. Ruth Mabe, Mrs. J.W. "Mallie Mae" True and Mrs. Walter "Winnie" Burnett; four brothers - J.N., H.L., Angus and Riley; three grandchildren.
