She had three siblings: Annie Dora Townsend Spivey Syfett, William Robert Townsend, Jr. and Thomas Edward Townsend.
She was the Widow of Harvey L. Bertram "Bert" Mangum and was a housewife.
She was buried at the Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto, Florida. Hardage & Sons of 4115 Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
