She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Edward Young Gay. She received a certificate to teach school.
She was married to John Fraser on February 14, 1935 in Gardner and lived there until moving to Colorado. John died in 1956.
She was a member of First Congregational Church and a past chairman of Priscilla Circle of the Women's Fellowship at the church. She had been a member of Billings City Federation of Women's Clubs; a member of Montana Press Women; and active in Billings Women's Democratic Club.
Survivors included a son, Marvin J. Fraser of Big Timber; a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Blackford of North Palm Beach, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Stella Gay Coker of DeSota, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
