Clarence R. Hudspeth went to be with his Lord on February 21, 2006. He was born on August 30, 1922 to Charles and Claudia Hudspeth in Abbott, Arkansas. He was a member of the Unite States Army and served his country during WWII while assigned to anti-aircraft units in General Patton's Third Army. He saw action in Normandy, France during the Battle of the Bulge and Germany. He received four Bronze Stars and was honorable discharge in 1945. Clarence marred Helen on January 19, 1943. He became a Christian 54 years ago at a revival in Ft. Smith Arkansas. He loved building things, helping others, and serving God as a Deacon in his Church.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen who passed away on January 28, 2006, and one son, Steve Hudspeth, one brother, Charles Hudspeth, and one sister, Polly.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Scammahorn and husband Gene of Plano, Texas, one sister, Sue Flutie, his grandchildren; Kristi Rushing and husband Dan, Scott Scammahorn and wife Kamala, Tamara Clemins and husband Dave, Tara Fiddler and husband David, five great grandchildren; Taylor May, Ashley Clemins, Ashley Hunter, and Tyler Scammahorn.

Services for Clarence are scheduled for February 23, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Interment will be at the Green Hill Cemetery.
