Born November 5, 1944 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Merle Ira and Arlene MaLinda (Stoops) Blubaugh. She spent most of her life in the Waynesboro area.
Mrs. Harbaugh was a graduate of Waynesboro Senior High School with the Class of 1962.
She and her husband of over 48 years, Mr. Larry W. Harbaugh, were married December 22, 1962 in Germantown Church of God, Cascade, MD. They had lived at their present residence since 1979.
Mrs. Harbaugh was employed in the housekeeping and dietary department at Quincy United Methodist Home, presently Quincy Village, Quincy, PA, for 22 years. She retired April 5, 2004. Following her retirement, she was employed at AC & T, Waynesboro, for two years.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro and National AARP. She also served as a volunteer at Quincy Village.
Mrs. Harbaugh enjoyed cooking, baking, decorating, gardening and she especially loved animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Tammy L. French and her companion, Tony Spencer of Mercersburg, PA and Christopher T. Harbaugh and his wife, Stacey of Hagerstown, MD; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, LuAnn E. Hardman and her husband, Terry of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Merle I. Blubaugh.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2011 in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy with the Rev. Mark Shover officiating.
