Funeral services for James Fetzer Scivally, 85, of 1417 Houston Street in Rosenberg, were held from the First Assembly of God Church in Rosenberg Sunday, with Rev. W.B. Shows officiating.
Mr. Scivally was a retired farmer, grocery store owner, and grocery clerk. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and had been a resident of Rosenberg since 1941, having moved here from Seadrift.
Included among his survivors were his wife, Mrs. Theresa Scivally; daughters, Mrs. Carl Frazier of Falfurrias, Mrs. Everett Sotts of Rosenberg; brother, Ed Scivally of Seadrift; sisters, Mrs. Oscar Turley of Denison, Mrs. Mae Grigar of Seadrift; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Woodrow Stubblefield, Ernest Elliston, Joseph Brinkmeyer, Robert Thielemann, Reinhard Ellermann, and Alvin Yancey.
Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Park with arrangements under the direction of Garmany and Company Funeral Directors.
