James Martin Cranfil, III, age 59 died on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He had been ill since August.

Mr. Cranfill was born in Boston, Masachusetts on April 24, 1947 to James M. Cranfill II and Marie Doran. Both parents preceded his death.

Married Sandra Louise Schuhler on 16 April 1966 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was employed with Atwood Mobile Products of LaGrange, Indiana and was a member of Local #1417 U.A.W. of LaGrange.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing pool and working on his 1966 Chevey Nova.

Survivors include his wife Sandra, son, James M. IV, daughters, Heather and Angela. Four grandchildren, Lexon, Logan, Layne, Lawson. Sister, Jackie Meyers, brother, Barry (Pam) and sister Terri (Mark) Calvin, all Indiana.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec 1, 2006, from 4-8 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Dec 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Indiana.
