Zora B. Snodgrass, 88, a resident of the Livingston County Nursing Home, died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday at the home. She had been in failing health 10 years.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Hallerberg officiating. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born November 23, 1884 in Indiana, a daughter of Charles and Ida (Campbell) Jacobs. She attended school in Indiana and was married to Robert Snodgrass in February 1944 at Joliet.

Surviving are three sons: Ernest Ira Porter of Odell, Hugh Boyd and Charles Benjamin Boyd of Pontiac; three daughters: Mae Noel of Butternut, Wisconsin, Viola Siemsen of Joliet and Georgia Bratt of Cicero; a sister: Grace Desenbrock of Joliet; four brothers: John Jacobs of New Castle, Indiana, William Jacobs of California; Emmerson Jacobs of Texas and Henry Jacobs of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Her husband and two sisters preceded her in death.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
