Funeral services for Charles Asplund, 78, retired farmer, will be at 2 pm Wednesday in Hahn Chapel. Asplund died of a heart attack Sunday night, at Elders Convalescent Home, 1711 NW 11. He came to Oklahoma City in 1907 from Nebraska. Survivors include two sons, Walter Asplund, Cheyenne, Wy; and Elmer Asplund, Ft Worth, TX; two step-sons, C G Carlson, 308 E Marshall Drive, Midwest City, OK; and Henry Carlson, Boulder, Colorado; and a granddaughter, Phyllis Asplund, Ft Worth, TX.
