Henderson died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997, at a local hospital. He was born June 23, 1908, in Montebello to Robert and Nellie Henderson, and graduated from high school in Ontario. He married Marjorie Switzer on July 6, 1929 in Etiwanda.
Henderson retired after 35 years of employment at Sunkist. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Durham; two sons, Robert of Durham and Jerry of Visalia; two sisters, Mildred Rehm of Laverne and Marian Chappel of Wisconsin; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Brusie Funeral Home made the arrangements.
