Herald Aug 8, 1984- CHARLES DELMAR ARCHER, 84, of Route 1, Stockport, died Saturday, Aug. 4, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born Feb. 7, 1900, in Penn Township, a son of Dwight and Dollie McPEAK ARCHER. Mr. Archer was a retired painter and roofer who worked as a railway bail clerk for 20 years. He was a member of Webb Lodge No. 252 F&AM. His first wife, Eleanor DUNN, died in 1937. Surviving are his second wife, Agnes DRAKE ARCHER, a daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Lola) WILLIAMS of Jupiter, Fla,; a granddaughter, Mrs. Paul (Eleanor) CLIFT of Atlanta; and a great-granddaughter, Heather CLIFT. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home. Evangelist Keith KRESS officiated. Burial was in the Pennsville Cemetery.
