A former Saxton resident, William Ross Amlck of Warren, Ohio died April 6, 1972, in the St. Joseph's Riverside Hospital In Warren. Mr. Amlck was born April 19, 1887 at Clearvllle, a son of George W. and Mary (Sparks) Amlck. He was united in marriage to Lillian Elizabeth Thompson who preceded him in death. Surviving are three children; Mrs. Betty Urmson and Mrs. Lois Diles, both of Warren, Ohio and Paul Amlck of Blairsville. Amlck was the last surviving member of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters. He bad been employed as a trainman at Saxton for the Huntingdon and Broad Top Railroad. He had retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad several years ago.
