Friends and relatives were grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Dick (Pauline) (McCutchan) Wade, 40, of Troy, former resident of West Union, Doddridge County for several years while her husband was employed in this section by the South Penn Oil Company. She died in the Phillippi Hospital Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1957, at midnight, after an extended illness. Mrs. Wade was born in Lewis County October 12, 1917, a daughter of the late George F. and Sarah (Means) McCutchan, of Lewis County. She was a member of the Arnold's Creek Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 56. Surviving besides her husband, are her mother, three brothers, Glenn McCutchan, of Weston; Paul McCutchan of West Union; and Bernard McCutchan of Camden; two sisters, Mrs. Jean Droppleman of Austin, Texas and Mrs. Bernadine Flesher, of Alexandria, VA. Funeral services were held Sunday at Weston and interment was made in the Snyder Cemetery there.
