Capt H B Williams, aged 45, died at the home of his aunt in North Madison at 1 o'clock today. He was the son of the late Nat Williams and leaves a brother and sister, Capt. James Williams and Mrs. J. C. Abbott, both of this city. He was a steamboat captain for several years but left the river to take a position at the wharf boat, which he held until his health became such that, he was compelled to resign. He was well known among river men and had a host of friends in this city, and was a member of the Cristian church. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of his brother Capt. Jas.
Williams, of Third street.
