AMOTT ROHRBAUGH

Amott Rohrbaugh, 82, of 208 Fair Avenue, died today at 6:55 a.m. at the Hanover General Hospital where he was admitted Jan. 29.
He was born in York County Oct. 26, 1879, a son of the late Amos and Sarah Markle Rohrbaugh. His wife, Mrs. Anna Krebs Rohrbaugh, died Dec. 12, 1937.
Mr. Rohrbaugh retired in 1948 as a shoe worker. He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church.
Surviving are two children, Raymond E. Rohrbaugh, 208 Fair Avenue, and Mrs. Leah Kegel, 601 York Street; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Maggie Heindel, Seven Valleys; Mrs. Lizzie Trone, New Oxford; Mrs. Ada Rohrbaugh, Charles Avenue; Silas Rohrbaugh, York Street, and Willis Rohrbaugh, Blue Ridge Summit.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bucher Funeral Home, Frederick Street. The Rev. George A. Heisey, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening.
