Ralph J. Nicholson, a former Ellendale resident, now of Salem, OR. died early Wednesday morning. April 18, in a Salem hospital. Ralph was born in Forbes, N.D.. He graduated from Ellendale High School in 1942 and moved to Orgon from Aberdeen, S.D. in 1956. He was a retired civil deputy and a member of the Eagles' Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Alice, Salem, Ore; one son and daughter-in-law, Salem, Ore; three brothers, Clifford and Gilbert NIcholson of Ellendale, N.D.; two sisters, Mrs. (Lola) Iver Tveit, Forbes, N.D., and Mrs. (Alta) Jack Puhr, Ellendale; and two grandchildren.
