The funeral of Rodney Rist, the young lawyer who was drowned in the Poudre on the 5th of July, took place this afternoon from the First Christian church, the Rev. Ward of Boulder, pastor of the Christian church there, officiating. The church was crowded to the doors by the sympathetic people who have been sharing the anxiety of the parents of the young man, while the body was still unrecovered. The pallbearers were University of Colorado men and others, the decedent having been a graduate of the law school of the university.
