Merrill L. Comer, 85, 4546 S. 600W, Swayzee, died Friday, June 12, 1981, at his home.
Mr. Comer, a farmer in Sims Twp., was a member of the Swayzee United Methodist Church, Scottish Rite, York Rite, 20th Century Farm Club, and past master of Grant Lodge 637 F&AM. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Surviving are four daughters, Ada Neeley of Converse, Catherine Spencer of Mishawaka, Margaret Rybolt of Swayzee, and Betty Kepner of Goshen; two sons, Joe of Swayzee and Ben of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Margaret Reid of Clayton; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
