WELSH — Forrest John "Bugga" Bordelon, 36, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Lake Charles.
He was a lifelong resident of Welsh, a graduate of Welsh High School and a veteran of Desert Storm. He worked in the construction field and loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He lived life to the fullest and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Touchet and husband David Touchet Sr.; one son, David Bordelon of Bellflower, Calif.; one daughter, Michelle Bordelon of Iowa state; two brothers, Larry Bordelon of Lake Charles and Aaron Paul Bordelon of Alvord, Texas; one stepbrother, David Touchet of Lake Charles; six sisters, Laurie Fontenot of Roanoke, Leigh Eris of Livermore, Calif., Celina Bordelon of Concord, Calif., Rachel Cleaves of Walls, Miss., and Elizabeth Le Melle and Katherine Bordelon, both of Welsh; and three stepsisters, Tracy Arnold of Riverton, Utah, Donna BeBee of Fenton and Elizabeth Touchet of Topsy.
His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18, from Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. The Rev. Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Richard Hinchee at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Bon Pasteur Cemetery in Welsh.
Pallbearers will be Larry and Aaron Bordelon, Thad Bourque, Todd Brown, Tim Cleaves and Shane Cummings. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Guillory, Chuck Porter and Blaine Davis.

Welsh man killed in motorcycle accident

A Welsh man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday.
According to Sgt. Mark Kraus of the Lake Charles Police Department, Forest Bordelon, 37, was driving his motorcycle on the Interstate 10 bridge around 9:46 p.m. While attempting to change lanes, his motorcycle struck the rear left side of a vehicle in front of him.
Bordelon was ejected from the motorcycle. He died as a result of his injuries. No others were injured in the incident. Cpl. Billy Creel investigated the incident.
