Cousin Charles is listed as a "capitalist" and brother Henry (uncle to James Clark)was a mining expert.

On 4 Nov. 1924, his future bride, Marie Therese Jacqueline Bordes arrived in New York City on the ship "Majestic" from Cherbourg, France. Her residence had been Paris, France. He met her while he was working in Paris in 1920.

He married Jacqueline Bordes on 17 November 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. They had two daughters. They were later divorced.

Jacqueline Bordes was born in 1894 in France; she died in 1981 in France.

He is buried just to the west of Charles Bequette family monument.
