Beloved husband and father, Patrick passed away at his home in Turlock on August 8th. He was born and raised in Junction City, Arkansas.
After serving 20 years in the Air Force he settled in Turlock working as manager/bartender for the Caroline Hotel, Scottys, Divine Gardens, The Elks Lodge and the SOS Club. He also was the owner of the Old Winery Restaurant in Escalon.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ethel McGoogan; brother, John (Ann); daughters, Kathleen McGoogan, Patricia McGoogan, Carolyn Burr (Mark) and Jeannie McGoogan; son, Eugene Michael McGoogan (Carolyn); step-daughters, Nancy Pinney (Craig) and Gwen Bettencourt (Bob). He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benson and Molly McGoogan; brother, Donald McGoogan; sister, Maxine Stegall (Carroll); daughter, Jacqueline McGoogan and son, James McGoogan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Emanuel 825 Delbon Ave. Turlock, Ca 95382.
Private services will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
