Daniel C. Heldt, 47, died unexpectedly from natural causes on April 1, 2007. He was a current employee of the City of Monterey for over 10 years and served in the Air Force when younger. He resided in both Winton and in Pebble Beach, CA. He studied genealogy and discovered his ancestors had lived in Pacific Grove continuously since about 1900. His other hobbies were photography and travel.
A private military burial is planned and contributions are preferred to the American Heart Association.
