Georgia was the first of three children born to Elbert and Eunice. The children were Georgia Virginia, Kathleen Janice and Elbert Floyd, Jr. Kathleen was either stillborn or died the same year she was born, 1926.
Georgia first married O. T. Franklin on Dec 24, 1937 in Helena, Shelby Co., AL. They had one child, a son, Thomas Reid Franklin born July 1, 1938. It is unknown if O. T. died or if he and Georgia divorced.
Second she married William Bailey Davis on May 3, 1941 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR. They had one child, a daughter, Darlene Davis born Aug 24, 1948.
William died on May 18, 1968 in AR. Georgia then married for the third time to Robert Ernest Swindell on September 27, 1969 in Thousand Palms, Riverside Co., CA. Georgia and Robert did not have any children. The records show they divorced in May 1970.
Georgia served as a PFC in the United States Army.
Evidently Georgia was buried in Texas where she died and later the body was exhumed and moved to California and buried on March 12, 2003 in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
