Bennie Anderson Funeral Held January 23

Funeral services for Bennie Anderson, 84, were held Monday, January, 23, at Worlein's Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiating. Temporary interment was at Oakwood cemetery in Austin.

Mr. Anderson died very suddenly from a heart attack at his farm home, rural Lyle Friday, January 20 while shoveling snow.

Bennie Anderson, a lifelong resident of Nevada township, was born February 14, 1882, the son of Erik and Bertha Anderson. He resided on a farm in Nevada township in the Six Mile Grove community all his life until the time of his death.

He was educated in the rural school in Nevada township, was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a lifelong member of Six Mile Grove Lutheran church.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert with whom Bennie resided with, and Melvin Anderson of Austin; also one sister, Mrs. Nora Beadle of Austin and several nieces and nephews.
