Tessie U. Sánchez passed away on July 30, 2008.
Tessie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, son, Gary, grandson, Jesús Martínez, parents, Antonio and Ernestine Urioste and sister, Ermenia (Martín) Mora.
Tessie is survived by her daughters, Mildred Sánchez, Evelyn Sánchez and Diana Rivera, grandchildren, Leann (Tyler) Stevens, Jenna Rivera, Martín Rivera and Peter Rivera-Valdéz, great-grandchildren, Gavin Stevens and Trinity Martínez, sister, Frances Benavídez (Joe), brother, Jimmy (Porfie) Urioste, sisters-in-law, Josie Orosco (Fred) and Mary Durán and many other relatives.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be JR Constable, Genaro Ortega, Fermin Abeyta, George Martínez, Peter Rivera-Valdéz, Martín Rivera, and Louie Rivera. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler and Gavin Stevens.
