Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Florencio Castellano and her daughter, Jacqline Castellano.
Flora was born in Peña Blanca, NM on August 20, 1924 to Alejandro and Juanita Leyba.
Flora married Florencio Castellano on February 16, 1943 in Oakland, CA.
Flora is survived by children, Alex Castellano (Anna) of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Castellano (Joan) of Santa Fé, NM, Orlando Castellano (Becky) of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Castellano (Joyce) of Santa Fé, NM, Pat Castellano of Rio Rancho, NM, Anna Rael (Mike) of La Mesilla, NM, Steve Castellano (Ellen) of Santa Fé, NM and Tommy Castellano of La Mesilla, NM, 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Flora attended prayer meetings at St. John's Parish from 1980 until 1990 and weekend living prayers from 1976 until 1986. Flora was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America of St. Anne's Council and Union Protectiva.
Public visitation will begin on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. also at St. Anne's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 11:15 a.m.
