CARL E. GIBSON

Carl E. Gibson, 76, of Bedford RD 2, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1995, at the home of his daughter, Carrol Williams.

He was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Everett, the son of Carleton and Elva (Spriggs) Gibson.

He was twice married, first to Grace Nunamaker, then to Jennie (Snowden) Weyant. Both preceded him in death.

Mr. Gibson was a member of Point Church of the Brethren. He had been employed by Penn Machine Co., Johnstown and Reese Motors, Bedford. He was also a farmer.

Surviving are two daughters: Mary L. Parson of Rosine, Ky. and Carrol Williams of Bedford RD 2; a son, John P., of Allentown, N. J.; two step-daughters: Betty Anderson of Baltimore, MD., and Marie Brown of New Paris RD 1; two sisters: Dorothy Calyer of Shade Gap and Ada Grace Keefer of Sykesville, MD; 11 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

Services for Carl E. Gibson of Bedford RD 2 will be held at 1 pm Sunday at Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville, by the Rev. Michael Oliveri and the Rev. Alan Brumbaugh.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
