Addie Long Phillips Crayton went on to her eternal reward November 30, 1995. She was the only child of Willie E. and Callie Phillips, born April 10, 1940, in Austin.

She is survived by two children, Jacqueline Denise Crayton and Samuel Clifton Crayton, Jr. She also leaves behind an aunt, Rosie Lee Smith; an uncle, A. Zaid Abdullah; and a host of cousins, in-laws, and dear friends.

She attended Austin Public Schools and graduated from St. Mary's Academy and Huston-Tillotson College. She received her Masters degree from Southwest Texas State University.

She was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church until her death.

Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. today at King-Tears Mortuary.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
