These three children all emigrated from Ireland to Canada. William in 1850; George after 1850; and Mary Anne in 1886.

In about 1850, George and his young wife, Margaret Corrigan, were on the voyage from Ireland to Canada. Tragically, Margaret, aged 23 years, became ill. She died and was buried at sea.
George settled in Toronto area and served on the Police Force. In about 1858, George met and married Mary Terriff (the widow Mrs. Bird). After they moved to Inistioge where George's brother lived, the couple had two children:
Loftus George (1859-1923)
James Alexander "Sandy" (1862-1934)
George died in 1908, aged 86 years, in Toronto, York County, Ontario. Burial October 17, 1908, at the Prospect Cemetery, Toronto, York County, Ontario.
