Esther and her husband John were the hosts for the annual Beale Family reunion. When they lived in the outskirts of Suffolk on a hill the family would meet there every third Sunday in May and enjoy each other's company and catch up. Later when they moved in town the family still came to them to meet up with each other. The tradition continues today with her granddaughter Debbie following in her footsteps.
