Beloved wife of Edward Amesbury of 54 years; mother of Jacqueline Komosky of Salem, CT, Pamela Jacques of Attleboro, MA, Karen Schroeder of Minneapolis, MN, Cynthia DeSisto of North Attleboro, MA and Mark Amesbury of Smithfield, RI; sister of Laurette Langille of North Attleboro, MA and Jeannette Gebsky of North Attleboro, MA and Robert Dargis of North Attleboro, MA. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight nieces and six nephews; sister of the late Ernie Dargis and Anita Dargis.
A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, at Christ the King Church, Mashpee, MA. Burial is at the National Military Cemetery at Otis Air Force Base. Arrangements are by the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Rte. 151 and Algonquin Ave., Mashpee, MA, 508-477-4025. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the funeral home.
