John Sovinski was the only child born in Houston to the union of Eleanora Gertrude Sedlacek and Stanley John Sovinski..John grew up on Little York Road and attended Houston schools Durkee Elementary, Fonville Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 of Sam Houston High School/Houston...the first of June of that year. John was extremely talented academically and a very creative person..he was a part of the National Honor Society, the Slide Rule Club, Disc and Diamond and the ROTC while in High School. John graduated from Texas A & M in 1970, and went on to earn his Master's Degree also in Aeronautical Engineering. He was married to the former Louise J Deluca. John served honorably in VietNam and had achieved the rank of Sergeant in the Air Force....John was an ardent gardner and landscape artist, he was clever with computers, furniture building and automotive repairs....rest in peace John...you left us way too soon....
