Linda Nelson Denman, 51, widow of Bruce C. Denman, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at her home.

Born in Bellevue, Neb., she was the daughter of Arthur H. Nelson and the late Ruth Lindblade Nelson. Mrs. Denman was a social services volunteer and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority-Alpha Upsilon Chapter.

Survivors besides her father of Bellevue include three children, Bruce C. Denman II and his wife, Melanie, of Sumter, Amy Loretz of Montgomery, Ala., and Jason E. Denman of Anchorage, Alaska; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard L. Nelson of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Nelson of Kansas City, Mo.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tony Gould officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
