JOSEPH T. LEONARD
Joseph T. Leonard, 75, of Sunnycrest Manor, Dubuque and formerly of Bernard, died at 4:55 p.m. Friday, July 23, 1982, at St. Joseph's Unit, Mercy Health Center, Dubuque.
Friends called at the Hoffmann-Tierney Mortuary, Dubuque, from where services were held to St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, at 10 a.m. Monday.
Casketbearers were Jim Ruden, Jim McDonald, Leo Hirtz, George Federspiel and Eddie Conlon, all of Bernard and Pat Leonard, Dubuque. He was born at Bernard, son of William P. and Josephine (O'Connell) Leonard. He farmed most of his life in the Bernard area and was a member of St. Patrick's Rosary Society.
Surviving are four brothers, Melvin W. Leonard, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Edmund F., Bernard, Paul A., Dubuque and Rev. William P. Leonard, pastor of the Church of the Nativity, Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.
