Abraham Bish, a well-known citizen of Paint township, a veteran of the war of the rebellion, died at the home of his son, David Bish, Thursday, Feb. 1, 1900, at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 17 days.

The deceased had been a member of Co. D [G], 155th Regt., Pa. Vols., and was severely wounded in one of the battles of the war, necessitating the amputation of his leg between the thigh and knee.

Mr. Bish was a member of the M. E. Church.

The funeral was held last Saturday, Rev. B. F. Delo of Clarion, officiating, assisted by Rev. Kast of Shippenville, the interment taking place in the Clarion cemetery.
