Roy Alan Bracher, 82, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2003, at his home in Houston. Mr. Bracher was a civil engineer and a veteran of two wars, the Korean Conflict and World War II. He was a former member of the Heights Rotary Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Fay; by his children, Roy Alan Bracher, Jr. and wife, Shelly, Linda Bracher Lehmann and husband, Jeffrey, Lanelle Bracher Samms and husband, Ronnie, all of Houston, Philip Belitsky and wife, Rosalind, of Halifax, Irwin Belitsky of Montreal, and Ralph Belitsky of Vancouver; by his grandchildren, Lora Bergeron, Lindsay Janek, Lisa Sweitzer, Cody Alan and Caitlyn Renee Bracher, Catherine Alexis, Lorraine, Michael, Matthew, and Melissa Belitsky; and by three great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2003.
