John Adams Dies Sunday

John Adams died at his home in Cayuga at four o'clock last Sunday afternoon after a long illness. He was born in Ohio, September 17, 1825 and settled in Vermillion county in 1854. He came to Vermillion township and located on a farm 5 1/2 miles west of Newport. A few years ago he moved to Cayuga where he resided until death. He is survived by his second wife and two sons.

The funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at the Thomas school house, two and one-half miles northwest of here and burial took place in the Thomas Cemetery nearby. The services were conducted by Rev. J.S. Brown, a U.B. minister of this township.

2. To my wife MARY ADAMS, 1/3 of all my property during her lifetime. At her death it is to go to my 2 sons GEORGE L. ADAMS, and ROBERT ADAMS.
3. I appoint M.W. COFFIN Executor.
