--Octava married William D. King in 1909. They lived in the Kings Mountain area, then Iredell County, NC by 1920. By 1930 they were living in Charlotte. They had 6 children: Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Willie, Avis Octava, William Dailey Jr., Virginia M., & David D. King.
