Leroy Adams died yesterday at his residence in Grafton following a lingering illness. He was born in Grafton and a lifelong resident of that community. Mr. Adams was well known as a produce dealer in the Troy Area, a business from which he was forced to retire due to ill health last year. He was an active member of the White Lily Lodge, I. O. O . F. Surviving are his wife, the former Teressa Sweet; a daughter, Mrs. Norman M. Burdick of Grafton, and a brother, Orlin Adams of Troy. Two grandchildren also survive, Barbara and Thurston Burdick of Grafton. The funeral will be conducted privately at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the residence with the Rev. R. J. Van Deusen pastor of the Center Brunswick Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Brick Church Cemetery, Center Brunswick.

The funeral of J. Leroy Adams was conducted at 2:30 p.m. today with Rev. R. J. VanDeusen, pastor of the Gilead Lutheran Church, Center Brunswick, officiating. Members of the family acted as bearers. Interment was in the church cemetery, Center Brunswick.
